Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 $600 AR at Tiger Direct!

Tigerdirect has a new special on the Lenovo IdeaPad Y510. The deal expires on March 10, 2008. Oh what's the deal? You can get it for $600 after you submit and receive a $100 mail-in rebate. Yes, $600 for a new Lenovo model. Nice!

Not familiar with the Y510? Let's "meet" it! It has an Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2330 processor working at 1.60GHz. Its crucial specs include 2GB of DDR2 memory, using two 1gb slots. You can have a max of 4gb total memory if you wish to upgrade. The hard disk drive is 160GB, and the dvd-burner is dual layer. The display is a 15.4" WXGA which you can see in the picture above.

Secondary specs include 802.11a/b/g Wireless, built-in Webcam, built-in memory card reader, Windows Vista Home Premium, Dolby Home Theater premium audio with four speakers and a sub-woofer, and one Express Slot.

Also note in the picture above the innovative Frameless Screen that gives these notebooks a uniquely modern appearance!

Last but not least, it uses Lenovo's VeriFace technology - your face becomes your password! That's right, cool new stuff! The question is what happens to identical twins and clones, but for the rest of us, the VeriFace may not be a bad idea at all! Just be sure to look pretty for the computer when it checks your face ;-)

Lots of details, a video preview, and user reviews too are posted at the Tigerdirect site. So take a look at the Lenovo IdeaPad Y510.
